Giuseppe Giacovazzo
In praise of trullo
with Andrea Camilleri's note
A spelling-book of little real stories from small towns and countryside in Valle d’Itria.
Subject: History
Series: Fuori Collana

This book tells stories about trulli, real stories from small towns and countryside in Valle d’Itria where the charm of trulli is still alive. A story for each letter of the alphabet. Bandits, barons, peasants: a mixture of memories and lives with the passions and the traditions of a culture that resists the barbarian invasions of a tourism without a soul. The author is a faithful witness of his region, Puglia, a land full of contradictions and lights, never resigned and sorrowful, always open to the sea of life.
